We played a game an we thought the games was going to be fair but as we played the game we found out that the game isn't at all fair.
To explain the game: player A gets one point if the coins both land on heads. Player B gets a point if the coins both land on tails. Player C gets a point if the coins land on one head and one tail.
What I know about probability is like when we play a game and it is the chance of getting the number you want or need.
A game that is fair means everybody has the same chance of who will win.
What I want to know is how to be able to tell if the game fair?
What I learned: I learned that there is a difference between theoretical and experimental probability. the difference is experimental is we actually did and theoretical is we predict is going to happen.
I learned how to create a blog user using blogger.com and using technology to communicate results helped me because we can put things in order and explain our thinking.
Fair or Unfair?
The two coin toss game is unfair because the heads n tails player has more of a chance of winning. Getting heads n tails or tails an heads is like a 50% chances of winning the game, compared to 25% for the other players with two heads or two tails.
